Peer Mentor training Manchester

January 24, 2014 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

For supplementary schools in the Manchester area wishing to support each other to publicise and develop good practice

We are delighted that Manchester Metropolitan University in partnership with Manchester City Council and Highway Hope Supplementary School are facilitating this training session and ongoing support for supplementary schools.

The peer mentor training covers the same ground as the Day 1 Quality Framework Mentor training and provides all the necessary resources and materials to support supplementary schools in preparing their Bronze Management File.

Once the Bronze Management File is complete schools will be visited by a registered Quality Framework Mentor and their classroom practice observed to enable recommendation of achievement of the Bronze Quality Framework Award.

If you are interested in joining this session or would like us to work with you to organise similar training in your area, please get in touch via nrc@supplementaryeducation.org.uk

Immediately after the training there will be a meeting with staff from Manchester Metropolitan University regarding CPD for supplementary school teachers and the opportunities available for further teacher training.
