An NRCSE Quality Mark (or previously the Silver Quality Framework Award) shows that the supplementary school provides a well-organised learning environment with teaching, record keeping and resources that support children’s and young people’s achievement and raise their self-esteem.
The film below shows the recognition meeting process for former Silver QF recognition. There are some changes in the way the meeting is run for the Quality Mark but the process is largely the same.
We have templates/examples for you to consider when developing your evidence file. If you have a great piece of evidence which you would like to share please contact email@example.com and do what Sree Bharathalaya have done – download their tutor feedback and comments. To gain the Quality Mark you need to have completed the your local safeguarding requirements and submit a portfolio of evidence against the ten quality framework standards.
For each of the standards you will provide physical evidence in your portfolio and your Quality mentor will visit your school and compile a statement detailing what s/he saw of teaching and learning and other good practice in your school.
For more guidance on how to make a self-assessment and complete your portfolio, log in and head to the standards download page.
